Visibility toggle does not restore previous layer state

When clicking the invisibility icon in accordion, all layers are deactivated, but clicking the icon again does not restore the previously visible layers.
It would be very useful if the viewer remembered the last active layer state. For example, if four layers were visible before hiding everything, clicking the visibility icon again should reactivate those same layers.
